Minimal-ish: Out With The Old

I’m a little late for my post. I blame the holidays. 😉

Update on Project333…I’m still going strong. (Only 33 clothing items for 3 months)

It actually prompted me to go through my closet and get rid of SO much.

6 bags of clothes.

It felt so good to get rid of things. Jacob helped me do it and we had lots of laughs. I didn’t want to get rid of some things but he reminded me of how I hadn’t worn them or Im just saving them for some occasion.

I donated a lot and got some money at our local clothing exchange for my nicer pieces.

My closet isn’t overflowing. I can actually close my dresser drawers without struggling to push all my clothes in. It really has made getting dressed so much easier. All my clothes are items that I actually like and fit me. So, it’s easy to pull out anything and put an outfit together.

Don’t be afraid to get rid of clothes. You can always buy new pieces. I realized how much I was keeping that I didn’t even like or want. Let it go! 😉

Happy Wednesday and have an amazing Christmas.

That’s great you were able to get rid of so much! I really need to go through our stuff and get rid of a lot of clutter and stuff that doesn’t get used.

This is my big plan for the new year, like you, I can’t wait to bag up all clothing we don’t use anymore. Books/toys my daughter has over-grown. I really want to do a major over-haul. It’s so liberating, isn’t it?

Good for you!!! I’ve been wanting to try the 333 project for a while, so I’m encouraged by your gumption!

Oh wow, you did great! Purging feels great, doesn’t it?

I need to do this. I hang on to so many things “just in case” and then htey just make more work for me.
